FFA233 (DIGITAL INK AND PAINT) - Final Project (finish!)-

I've finished my artwork!

After all hard work that i've been through, it was paid off. As you can see, the final is not the one that i hope for. It was a cover up for the mess i did at the background T~T. At first i want to make a very beautiful morning with the sun coming out between the mountain but i didn't work. After i fixed all the problems, something is off! and i dont know. i could be the colour? i guess? Back to the basic, i search for reference for sky and steampunk.

After about an hour research, i realize that in order to enhance the steampunk-ish i need to make the sky really2 cloudy and more dusty, moreee smoke. For me steampunk that has a clear sky does not look very great because with all kinds of machine and vehicles that produced a lot of smoke.
If the whole sky are filled with smoke and clouds the sun it self is hard to see and as you can see
this is the outcome. I've tried to use photo impose technique on certain things, not much, most of it i drew based on the reference that i found.

Enough with the unsatisfied attitude, look on the bright side! i've finished my final assignment.
A big thanks to Miss Sheila who take a good care of us. This subject really helps me to improve on how to master adobe software. Without her help and guidance i can't reach this kind of level. Thank you so much!!

FFA 231 (Mechanics of Motion) -Final acting-

GENG PANDA KURAP

-Me as Assashin-

Who is your chosen character?

I choose a Japanese assassin who are very royal to his boss as we know Japanese people have high discipline also loyal to their country and ready to give their life for it.
Same for this character, he is really loyal to his boss that he follows every order that his boss gave him even if it might cost his life.

What are the character’s traits?

Assassin is very serious, quite and sneaky most of the time. His presence is hard to sense and he does not talk much.
The reason why he did not talk much because he barely know how to speak other language beside Japanese. Also one of the main reasons are he actually stutter a lot when he talks.

What is the character’s role?

The character played as assassin, the boss right hand man and been given a job to stole a war robot at the government facilities with Professor Kusut.

What is the character’s goal?

Obeying all boss’s orders.

What is the character’s fear?

Afraid that he could not give his all in obeying boss’s orders.
And also boss’s death. For him, if the boss died because of his mistakes, he will commit suicide in order to restore honor.

What are the character’s exaggerated characteristic?

He is dead serious and very quite person. Even when the boss get angry and started to spit all his nagging at his face. His face does not even move an inch.

What is the character’s relationship to others?

He is boss’s right hand man and Professor Kusut’s friend.

FFA233 (DIGITAL INK AND PAINT) - Final Project week 11-

MORE PROGRESS!

Last week i used the photo imposed technique.
Now the real struggle begins. ;~;

i need to colour it one by one  for the details.

lets start with the castle.

This is the result of redrawing the castle in gray scale version.

I coloured it with overlay layer above it (gray scale layer) by using bronze and rusty colour to make more look like steampunk theme.
