MECHANICS OF MOTIONS -WEEK 4- Snow White movie

This week Sir Ezwan assigned us to watch a movie and make a commentary about a character that really represent us.

We watched snow white and the Seven Dwarfs 

The character that i chose that represent myself is one of the dwarf name Grumpy.

True to his name, Grumpy lives out his days with a bad mind set. In the story, he showed negative, and even antagonistic traits, such as being overly rude, condescending, and sexist. Even he is stubborn, he has a compassionate heart as any, though he rarely admits this. He's also shown to be quite intelligent, and rather brave for the most part. While opinionated, and typically against change, Grumpy's mindset and views are shown to be able to change for the better, though the process for doing so proves to be lengthy.

Grumpy has an extreme distrust for women at the start of the film, believing them to possess black magic and wicked intentions (or "wicked wiles", as he called them). It is likely that he came to believe this from hearing stories about the evil Queen. Because of his fear, Grumpy initially opposes the other dwarfs' decision to let Snow White stay with them.

CHARACTER TRAITS

The similarities between me and grumpy is i also being grumpy but its more like annoyed all the time i don't know why , happens when i disagree with something. Aside from grumpy, i also pretty stubborn sometimes because i always set my mind on something and its hard to change it, i don't want. Even being annoyed most of the time, i do care about those who is percious to me.

Am i a sexist? NO, i dont hate women.

ROLE IN STORY

Grumpy is like a second leader is the dwarfs brotherhood. His role is always disagree with something and grumpy all the time. He is grumpy but that does not mean he do not care.

CHARACTER GOAL

Grumpy's goal is to protect snow white from the evil queen.

CHARACTER FEEL MOST

Grumpy felt grumpy the most. Even grumpy being overly rude to Snow White, he do care about her.

Grumpy is a part of dwarf brotherhood. There are seven members in the team.
Grumpy also a friend of snow white even at first grumpy being stubborn and unfriendly.

DIGITAL INKING & PAINTING

-VECTOR ASSIGNMENT-

 Miss Sheila told us to find a bunch of poster reference at internet. As usual i always search on Pinterest because it was the best way to get a lots of reference. I picked 4 reference that i found interesting. Miss Sheila told us to vector one of our references but Miss Shiela is the one who's gonna choose which one we are going to do.

This is the one that Miss Sheila chose for me to vector.

I will show you step by step how im gonna vector this batman poster.

1) At first i trace the background and then the outline of the villian.

 The ways that i vector this poster is by vectoring all same colors at the same time because its way more easier that way.

Also by using layer artboard makes it simpler to vector without any mistakes.

Mechanics Of Motion -WEEK 3-

This week we need to find what kind of animal that we want to be.  Sir Ezwan give us four minutes to think about it.

It would be weird if i pick it random animals that i dont know. I decided to choose an alpaca because somehow it represent myself. Alpaca always live in groups which is true that i also like in a group, i feel safer than alone.

Some information about an alpaca (Vicugna pacos) is a domesticated species of South Amarican Camalid. It resembles a small llama in appearance. There are two breeds of alpaca; the Suri alpaca and the Huacaya alpaca.
 Alpaca fiber is used for making knitted and woven items, similar to wool. These items include blankets, sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves, a wide variety of textiles and ponchos in South America, and sweaters, socks, coats and bedding in other parts of the world. The fibre comes in more than 52 natural color. If i were alpaca i wouldnt gave my fur to human. With them i feel a lot warmer and comfortable.

 ACTIVITY 2

      As usual Sir Ezwan told  us to work with partner. Our task is to create a scene that had a very minimize conversation. The rule is to act that both of us are a complete stranger. And so i pair up with Aiman and discuss about our strategies to make it less conversation. Aiman's idea is strong enough for this task. i decide to add up a bit effect so the other team can understand the situation. I need to create the atmosphere.

 - VIDEO -

     The video show that we are a complete stranger waiting for a train to arrive. Theres only one seat left i rush to get it before aiman. The important part is when i was looking at Aiman very awkward because something is wrong with this guy. I was gonna tell him but it would be better if when we get out of the train.
   
      As the music plays, patiently waiting until we arrive at the next station. When we arrived at the station i told Aiman the his pants is unzip the whole time. Aiman was so embarrassing and quickly zip his pants when we ge out.

ACTIVITY 3

 We have been divided into to two groups, same as activity 2 we need to create a scene with soundscape and the atmosphere. We have a lot of member in our team, every each of us have their own role. We divided our work for the scene and soundscape, we have actor department and soundscape department. I will be the main actor with a few member. The rest will be the sound maker.

Scene that we all agreed on is a scene where there is an accident going on.

STORY

There is a teenage boy who loves to listen to music. He listen to his music while walking at town. The town is busy with people and cars. The boy does not aware of his surroundings while listen to music. He cross the street without realize that a car is at high speed is moving towards him.

vroom bomm bam bang  !!

The car hit that boy hard. The boy flew a few meters away with a slow motion effect and hit the ground until he bleeding badly. The driver rush out from the car and take a look at that injured boy. The boy barely breath and the driver called ambulance for help but the to bad the ambulance having a break that time so why not?.

The traffic got worse because of that accident. All the other driver are getting mad and some of them are pretty shocked and awestruck. The awestruck one came out and take a picture and selfie with the bleeding boy. The boy shown out like an artist. The spotlight is given to the boy. After all that photo session a doctor came out from the crowd immediately help the boy.

The boy who is dying woke up and saw many people surrounded him because of his bleeding. Suddenly hospital called the boy and ask the boy to go to the hospital because his state. All the ambulance are currently on maintainence so they're unavailable.

All the ambulance lived happily forever after.

FFA 231 (Mechanics of Motion)

WEEK 2 

 

 

This week assessment is too introduce your pair to all the students in the class. 4 minutes has been given to us to tell each other story so we can share them .

 

This week i paired up with Halimy (the tallest student in fita). Halimy told me that he does not want to take animation course at first because he said that he wanted to go to Mascom to take Mass Media but unfortunately he messed up his math subject and end up taking animation. In the end he likes it here.

       

 He also said that he really like to watch movies. Give a tons of critics to movies that he watched. If i want to watch a movie with great story, i will ask for his suggestion. Halimy also has his time called "halimy time" where hes gonnna listen to music and enjoying it while walking around uitm campus. if one of you guys saw a tall pillar walking. Thats him.

After we introduce our pair, we must retell the stories about our friend in acting.

We agreed that the scene we made is a scene about one graduate student came to interview for jobs. But in the end they reunion and that student got the job.

Trust your friend

 

         After that, Sir Ezwan told us to pick someone beside your friend that you just introduced. This is the battle of trust, so i mean that you must choose someone you can trust on.

 

Since Aiman want to team up with me, i hope he did not make a wrong decision if he want to team up with me. Question, can Aiman trust me? i hope so. I did not trust myself.

 

 

So we end up by blind folding your own friends and he or she must trust his partners,  holding hands and follow them to the right path.

And after we are ready, we enter the level 1000 dungeon.

 

 

 After a week, Nafiz and Aiman never came back. The only thing left is this blog.
